Main structural types of motors
Motor with two end cap bearings
This structural type of motor has a wide range of applications. The motor has two end cap bearings and a flat base parallel to the centerline of the shaft. Its structure is typical and widely used, and it is listed in the product catalog for mass production.
This structure motor can be installed on the floor, wall, or ceiling, and is installed on the seat rail during belt transmission for regular adjustment to tighten the belt. To connect with the dragging machine, it is usually installed on a common base plate (electric motor generator, electric water pump, steam turbine generator, etc.).
In the case of gear transmission, in order to ensure accurate and sturdy mechanical connection and transmission between machines, they can be installed on the same base plate or connected to other structures. Another category of this structure is the flanged motor, which can be horizontal or vertical.
A motor with two seat type bearings
To ensure the mechanical connection between the various parts of the machine, there are two installation methods for motors with conventional transmission: 1) the motor and seat type bearings are installed on a base plate; 2) Connect the motor and the seat bearing by installing the foundation of the motor.
When the belt drive motor and seat bearing have a common base plate, it is allowed to install the machine on the seat rail. Large motors or motors with a common base plate and seat type bearings installed on separate base plates are suitable for using separate tightening wheels.
